Humiseal S1080A 5L

HumiSeal Stripper 1080A is fully compliant with the RoHS 2002/95/EC directive. HumiSeal Stripper 1080A is safe to use on epoxy markings, epoxy substrates, solder, copper, silver, gold, and nickel. It swells or dissolves polystyrene and vinyl.

Instructions for use

Immerse the component or PCB in the HumiSeal Stripper 1080A. The rate at which the existing coating dissolves depends on its thickness and age. A cured acrylic coating of normal thickness should be completely dissolved within 30 minutes at room temperature. Additional heat is not necessary. After removing the existing coating, thoroughly wash the assembly with isopropyl alcohol, deionized water, or other qualified cleaning method. Dry the assembly in an oven for at least 30 minutes at 66°C before recoating.

Handling precautions

The HumiSeal Stripper 1080A is flammable and the following standard safety precautions must be observed:

• Use only in well-ventilated areas.
• Protective gloves and goggles should be worn.
• In case of prolonged skin contact, wash with water.
• In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water then apply a diluted boric solution and contact a doctor.
• Avoid prolonged breathing of vapors.
• Unused portions of HumiSeal products must be disposed of in accordance with all applicable environmental regulations.
